Description
Pt. Baker is the northern most water tower west of South Whiting, located just west of the intersection of Hwy 89 and Hwy 87. Climb to 900', 100 KIAS while proceeding. After takeoff, hold turns until at the upwind end of the runway to avoid the maintenance pattern. Turn as follows:
- Rwy 5: Climbing right turn at upwind end, enter downwind, cross extended centerline of the approach end of 32, then direct.
- Rwy 14:
- From Spot 1: Right crosswind to cross extended centerline of departure end of 14, then right turn direct
- From Rwy 14: Right turn at upwind end, then direct.
- Rwy 23: Right turn direct
- Rwy 32: Left turn direct prior to Langley Road.
Note: Turns accross the extended centerline of 32 shall be between the approach numbers and the perimeter road (due to instrument approach traffic). Helicopters shall remain south of Langley road.
From Baker, fly Approx. 290 parallel to Hwy 89, direct Pt. Pond (Southwest of first road bend).
